| badboyblaze ::: Favorites 2007-12-17 11:32:51 i would spin around too just incase the spy was close to me, ive been backstabbed 100 too many times... he was just checking his back __________________________________________________ | |
| Xavier32 ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 15:44:43 This is the number one most important trick to staying alive as spy. It's so easy to evade even good players if you know how to misdirect their fire by feigning the direction you're running while the cloak sets in. If you get really good at it, you can even juke behind them and uncloak in time to get the backstab while they fire in the other direction. __________________________________________________ | |
| TreeSapX ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 12:25:35 lol, now you are being abrasive just for the sake. __________________________________________________ | |
| iIIwiIl01 ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 11:34:38 well obviously....you were invisible __________________________________________________ | |
| TreeSapX ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 06:06:49 The pyro couldn't decide which way I went, continuing to flame a spot while I was decloaking 100 feet away at their spawn. He even ran back into the A tunnel to try me out before spinning like an idiot. He had no clue where I was. __________________________________________________ | |
| iIIwiIl01 ::: Favorites 2007-12-14 02:35:11 the you juked too soon.....the pyro definitely saw you change directions (which is why he stayed around that area) __________________________________________________ | |
| 4t0msk1 ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 20:48:36 weeeee nice cop'out on the pyro __________________________________________________ | |
| tra5hta1ker ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 17:34:08 Ah, I found the video. Gonna watch it tomorrow and then try it out. Thanks for the info __________________________________________________ | |
| TreeSapX ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 16:43:59 You have to use the demo smoother. It is kind of complicated, but you can find tutorials online. The biggest tip though (you wont know what this means, but you'll thank me when you do): you can't set a key using "set view", instead you have to hit the "drive" button and hold down the "make key" button while you place the camera. From there you line up the camera frames to the demo frames, etc. There is a video of a guy doing it all online. __________________________________________________ | |
| tra5hta1ker ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 16:36:00 Very nice. I've had a quite similar experience with a hostile medic once. BTW: I know how to deactivate the hud but how do you record in third person? __________________________________________________ | |
| Toxintrooper ::: Favorites 2007-12-13 16:27:06 Pretty neat - good job geting the pyro to think you went to A when you didn't. ;) __________________________________________________ | |
