Description: I was inspired by "Man of the Year" and the "Stewart/Colbert '08" shirt, and so made this video. Jon Stewart is the host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," and gives us both humor and insight into how politics work. He interviews politicians, celebrities, comedians, even heads of state. When Mr. Stewart became aware of the tv shirt idea, he responded that anybody who thought it was real "is a fool." And has made it clear that he would not run for office. I think we, as a nation, can change his mind. Make your voice be heard and let Jon Stewart know that he should run for President of the United States of America. |

| skyanimal ::: Favorites There is lying and there is not telling everything. Omission of the truth is not a lie, but is not the truth either. 07-03-19 13:43:15 __________________________________________________ | |
| dunnet1974 ::: Favorites First, how can you say that politicians do not lie to us? Secondly: Stewart is great but, don't waste a vote on him - he is not running. Make the vote count and vote for Ron Paul 08. 07-03-19 11:17:54 __________________________________________________ | |

| skyanimal ::: Favorites Yeah, but he can't exactly think on his feet as well as Jon does. That's why I'm not thinking he would be the best person for the job. I do agree he knows how to play a part well, but to be a leader? I have yet to see that come out of him. With Jon, he'll compromise on everything, but he'll compromise with the smartest people in the room, not the loudest. Also, he knows ultimately what is at stake. 07-02-14 17:25:09 __________________________________________________ | |
| xcave1 ::: Favorites Actually, he writes a lot of the show as well. He also is one of the writers for the Daily Show. Plus, he consistantly nails people in interviews, which are not prewritten. And did you see him at the correspondants dinner? 07-02-14 16:37:09 __________________________________________________ | |

| skyanimal ::: Favorites I would assume conservatives. They choose Republican for the larger base and more funding. 06-12-17 14:05:11 __________________________________________________ | |
