| StoneAngel4Ever ::: Favorites Last comment. I'm sure many just go back to their normal lives, singers for example Quidam usally are signed up for a certain period then they return to school or their normal lives. Hope that help you with you questions and sorry for making you read all of that text. 07-08-31 03:50:29 __________________________________________________ | |
| StoneAngel4Ever ::: Favorites Final question (yay!!! they won't let me type in all in one block.....maybe next time i'll e-mail answers) Leaving or retiring doesn't mean you have servered your tries for the cirque/circus family. Many past artists usally join circus training school or camps. I know that others do events and formal occassions, and for cirque some people get invited back to do specail events. e.g. the filming of solstorm and events like Midnight Sun. 07-08-31 03:49:08 __________________________________________________ | |
| TheSupremeIdiot ::: Favorites wow u do know a lot, lol and u keep running out of space!!! 07-08-31 03:44:22 __________________________________________________ | |
| StoneAngel4Ever ::: Favorites ran out again. Also sometimes certain artist roles have age limits. e.g. Quidam's singers roughly age from 12-16 (however now they have a singer aged 10)One last thing, artists sometimes leave a certain show to join another. e.g. Varekai singer from DVD left and joined "O" 07-08-31 03:43:15 __________________________________________________ | |
| StoneAngel4Ever ::: Favorites Sorry text was to big. Following on from that, people in acts change, sometimes they need a break or are recovering for injure. When this happens someone else is brought in from other shows. They usally select people who are the same height and have similar faces to origanal artist (saving money this way)If they don't have a match then they look through tapes of submission or audision. 07-08-31 03:38:30 __________________________________________________ | |
| StoneAngel4Ever ::: Favorites 1. No I don't work for a circus, I know this much because I've been reading as much as i could on CDS. I don't know how much they make however one would guess quiet a lot, after all they do work hmmm sometimes twice a day (depends on day)6 days a week. Equaling a lot. They do get replaced after period of time. Think about it working 6 days a week for roughly 6-7 year or more depending on show (Alegria is about 13 yrs old) doing the same thing over and over again one could get bored. 07-08-31 03:31:11 __________________________________________________ | |
| carebear9745 ::: Favorites how do you know that? did you work in the circus? thats so cool! but how much do they make? do they get replaced sometimes? what do they do after they are done with the circus? 07-08-30 19:38:09 __________________________________________________ | |
| StoneAngel4Ever ::: Favorites It very hard to get into Cirque du Soleil alone get's more then i think 100 job applications a day (i might be wrong in figures)and the process doesn't end there. If you do get picked (1. your very luck 2. you must be extremely talented) you have to audition for a place. If you don't do well you don't get the job. If you do, you go into a years worth of training, 6 days a week. The training itself is very hard and some people leave during that time, it's tough work being in a circus. 07-08-30 05:34:15 __________________________________________________ | |
| carebear9745 ::: Favorites i dont get it. if there are a lot of people who can bend their bodies like her, than why dont they get the job? 07-08-29 20:57:40 __________________________________________________ | |
| fluteyfire ::: Favorites She's so strong, too. Those moves take such amazing strength... Incredible. 07-08-06 05:00:49 __________________________________________________ | |
