Adolph had quite the ego--he used to sit in a platform above the othjer 3 players when he played string quartets! herzhaven ::: Favorites Actually there were 3 brothers originally a piano trio, performing in Stuttgart, and Adolf was more famous as the greatest teacher of the purist movement, Auer being that for Eastern Europe. And he was very humble, when he toured with his most famous young protege, Menuhin, Busch kept his prices low for greater audiance participation, Menuhin charged many times more as a child performer. You might be horrified to hear that a collector wanted to give me several hundred classical 78s for free but I turned them down. Salvation Army came to pick them up. I wouldn't know which ones are rare.
